The MacBook Pro and Apple Desktop to buy?

I'm making the change after 3 years of thinking about it. I plan to buy an Apple desktop and MacBook. Pro This is what I use for a calculation of large numbers in spreadsheets and database construction, web page development (Sites), value analysis, work with pictures and movies on vacation. I want to be able, if necessary to extend the hardware, if necessary in case have to for the new version of Apple software. (Jaguar). When my teams always work I have several (10 sites) once opened. here's what I'm looking for buy: one: Laptop: 15 inch MacBook or MacBook Pro/2.33GHz Pro/2.33GHz-17 (I've heard that are problems with the 17-inch) desktop:?? 24 inches Duo/2.16GHz Core 2 iMac or Mac Pro / Quad Xeon 2.66 GHz Can anyone help me on this and give me your advice if possible with the specifications in detail. If you want mobility, I'll take the 15.4-inch MacBook Pro. On the desktop, it's really your call, since both are responsible for what you want. You will greater expandability with the Mac Pro, the iMac, however, will cost more. If money is no object, go for the Mac Pro
