What shore excursions not to be missed on an Alaskan cruise?
Celebrity Infinity Alaska 7N inside passage cruise Vancouver roundtrip – What excursion not to be missed: The Best of Alaska package (2 hours – 3 ports at once?), Juneau Alaska Whale Watching or helicopter and dog sledding Adventure (3.5 hours). If more than one time for tours can be met as both are in Juneau? Heli trip is safe? Will I see whales on the cruise without taking s.excursions?
It was on a Princess cruise to Alaska in 2005, stopped in ketchican, Juneau and Skagway. ketchican is very small, went to the lumberjack show was funny. The others in our group went to fish for salmon and had a good time. In Juneau took a sea plane over the fields ice, incredible! Great time and definitely recommend it. Others took up the helicopter and glaciers, not the dogs. In Skagway we took a 3-mile walk followed by a floating raft trip down a river, again, very well. I wish we could have done more, but many of these trips are long and you want to allow time to explore and drink some beer in Alaska.
